Using Fondly

Fondly lets you start a memory book, invite people to add letters, photos and voice messages, and print or save the result. By using Fondly you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

You must be at least 16 years old to create a book. Anyone with a book's link can add a contribution to it.

Your content

You and your contributors keep ownership of everything you add. You give us permission to store, process and display that content only as needed to run Fondly: showing it to the people you share the book with, and producing the print and PDF views you ask for.

You promise you have the right to share what you upload, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or break the law. A book's owner can see and remove contributions to their book.

What is not allowed

Do not use Fondly to harass, threaten or exploit anyone, to share content that is illegal or sexually explicit, to spread malware, or to try to break, overload or gain access to the service or other people's books. We may remove content or close books that break these rules.

Premium and payments

Some features are part of Fondly Premium, which is a one-time payment for a single book (the price is shown on the pricing page before you pay). Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

While Premium is offered free, we may start charging for it later. Anything you have already paid for stays unlocked, and we will not charge you without a clear checkout step.

If Premium is not what you expected, ask for a refund within 14 days of payment at hello@fondly.me. A full refund turns Premium off for that book. Your book and everything in it stays yours.

Availability and changes

We work hard to keep Fondly running and your books safe, but we provide it as is, without a promise that it will always be available or error-free. Please export a PDF of anything you cannot afford to lose.

We may change or stop features, and we may update these terms. If a change matters, we will say so on the site. Continuing to use Fondly after that means you accept the change.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, PITWALL STUDIOS is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it (or US$50 if you paid nothing). Nothing here limits rights you have under law that cannot be waived.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in California.
